Purple Onion Patio Rental

Welcome to our cozy, heated patio – the perfect spot for your special gatherings in the heart of Saluda, NC!
Our patio comfortably accommodates up to 40 patrons, it’s ideal for both intimate and lively occasions.

November through April:
Experience the warmth and charm of our heated patio during the cooler months.

  • Dinner Time Slots: 5-7 PM or 7-9 PM (Monday, Friday)
  • Lunch Time Slots: 11 AM-1 PM or 1-3 PM
  • Dinner Rental Fee: $300 (Waived with a minimum spend of $1000 on food and beverages)
  • Lunch Rental Fee: $200 (Waived with a minimum spend of $600 on food and beverages)
  • Additional Hours: Available at $200 per hour.
  • January through March there may be special discounts available on rental fees.

May through October:
Join us for an exclusive outdoor cover patio dining experience. Limited availability.

  • Dinner Time Slots: 7-9 PM (Monday, Wednesday, Friday)
  • Lunch Time Slots: 11 AM-1 PM (Monday, Wednesday)
  • Dinner Rental Fee: $400 (Waived with a minimum spend of $1500)
  • Lunch Rental Fee: $300 (Waived with a minimum spend of $1000)

Terms and Conditions for Patio Rental

  1. Reservation and Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the patio reservation. This deposit will be credited towards the final bill.
  2. Minimum Spend Requirement: The rental fee is waived if the minimum monetary amount spent on food and beverages is met (as specified for lunch and dinner slots). If the minimum spend is not met, the rental fee will apply.
  3. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance. Late cancellations or no-shows will result in the forfeiture of the deposit.
  4. Overtime Fee: Events extending beyond the agreed-upon time without prior approval from management will incur an overtime fee of $50 per 30 minutes in addition to the standard hourly rate. This is crucial to respect subsequent reservations and restaurant operations.
  5. Food and Beverage: All food and beverages must be purchased from the restaurant. Outside food and drinks are not permitted.
  6. Decorations and Setup:
    • Guests must discuss decoration plans with the restaurant management in advance. Certain time slots may not permit decorations due to scheduling constraints.
    • Setup and teardown times must be included within the rental duration unless outside of opening hours.
    • The restaurant does not provide decorations, tablecloths, centerpieces, etc., unless otherwise discussed and a specific price is agreed upon.
    • Any decorations or additional equipment must be approved by the management. Guests are responsible for any damage caused during the setup or event.
  7. Conduct and Noise Level: Guests are expected to maintain a reasonable noise level as per local ordinances. The management reserves the right to terminate the event if disruptive behavior occurs.

  8. Liability: The restaurant is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property of the guests.
  9. Compliance with Laws: All guests must comply with federal, state, and local laws, including health and safety regulations.
  10. Amendments: The restaurant reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.
  11. Final Payment: Final payment is due at the end of the event, including any additional charges incurred.
