A little about us…

Owners Chambli Stuber and Emily Lamar grew along side The Purple Onion over the years, in beautiful downtown Saluda. There, they learned about the importance of community, flavor, and hospitality. They purchased The Purple Onion in 2020 and despite all odds, the restaurant — with the help of an amazing staff — thrived. When the going got tough, though they would gather with friends for tacos and margaritas. The idea of a taco shop began to form and when opportunity presented itself, they couldn’t say “no.” Carrying on The Purple Onion’s tradition, The SPOT, owners, and staff invite you to join us for Tacos & Margaritas!
